GREY ZONE
This artistic research is dedicated to the topic of gender nonconformity.
Gender is a spectrum that also includes the colors that we cannot perceive with our eyes. It is in motion and can always be realigned. I would like to shift the focus away from the binary system to the in-between: the gray area. This fluid notion of identity creates the basis for an oscillating state in which destabilization is set as a positive condition. I try to find an alternative home in the uncertainty of an unresolved gender identity; in a state of becoming.
